About Us
Be kind to people. Not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are.
~ Harold S. Kushner
Who We Are?
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to spreading kindness in the diverse communities of Chittenden County and surrounding areas. Our main focus is to provide financial support to children and families that seek to pursue their academic, athletic and artistic aspirations, as well as eradicating homelessness by providing financial support to secure safe spaces, shelter and programs designed for reintegration into employment and housing. All this in honor and memory of Katie Hartnett.
Popular Campaign
Since Katie loved the sport of golf, we organize an annual day of fun golfing -- Katie style. The course has “special holes” in remembrance of Katie, such as golfing with her very own golf clubs and putting with her field hockey stick. There is also a hoops free-throw contest, cornhole contest, and a chance to win a car, The day is followed up with awards and a dinner. This is a very popular campaign. It is just as much fun to volunteer as it is to golf. There are many ways to donate, such as golfing; supporting a hole with name recognition; cover costs for greens fees, thank-you specialty bags or food; your valuable time; or simply a financial donation. An event not to miss!
